世界中の子どもとおとなに、おうちでプラレールを楽しむための情報をお届けします。
This website is intended to provide information to enjoy Plarail at home, for children and adults all over the world.
そのため、次のような方針でサイトを運営しています。
Therefore, we operate this website in accordance with the following guidelines.
- 文章には漢字を使いますが、分かりやすい図を取り入れるようにします。
The text includes kanji (letters which may not be suitable for small kids), but we use pictures as much for everybody to understand. - 日英併記とします。
Japanese and English written together. - 毎日お片づけをして、おうちにしまっておける量のプラレールでの遊びを提案します。
The amount of Plarail parts used in this website to be reasonable for cleaning up everyday and storage at home.
なお、管理者は英語の専門家ではなく、併記の英語が間違っている場合がありますのであらかじめご了承ください。

プラレールとは？ (What is Plarail?)
プラレールは、日本でもっとも人気のある鉄道のおもちゃです。いろいろな種類の列車やレール、駅や踏切などの情景部品があり、自由に組み合わせて遊ぶことができます。
Plarail is the most popular toy train system in Japan. There are a variety of trains, rails, and scenery parts such as stations and railroad crossings. You can build any tracks and run the trains in your way.
列車は基本的に3両編成で、単三または単二の乾電池で走ります。ほとんどのプラレール製品は対象年齢3歳以上となっていますが、1歳半から手ころがしで遊べるものもあります。
The Plarail train basically consists of 3 cars and runs using a battery (AA or C). Most of Plarail products are for ages 3+ and some non-battery powered trains are for 18 months and up.

ふだんはものをつくるエンジニアの仕事をしています。男の子と女の子、2人の子どもがいて、いっしょによくプラレールで遊んでいます。
3年半くらい、アメリカに住んでいました。
Hello, it’s Jun.
I’m a Japanese engineer and a dad of two – a boy and a girl. Usually playing Plarail with them.
We’ve also lived in the United States for three and half years.
