つくりかた (How to build)

Step 1

まずは1階部分を作ります。
単線・複線ポイントレールは、この1階の外周があとで2階の下に完全に隠れてしまわないようにするために入れています。ポイントは図のようにセットしておきます。
1階の2倍直線レール部分は、直線レール2本にしてもかまいません。
また、複線曲線レールの数に余裕があれば、曲線レール+複線外側曲線レールの部分を複線曲線レールで置きかえることができます。
Build the lower level first.
Single-double track point rails are used in order for this outer track not to be completely hidden by upper level track. Set the points as shown in the figure.
Two straight rails can substitute for 2x straight rail on the lower level.
If you have more than 8 double track curve rails, a pair of curve rail and outer curve rail may be replaced with a double track curve rail.

Step 2

左側に複線ブロック橋脚を置いていきます。
Place double track pier blocks on the left side.

Step 3

坂レールで2階に上がり、2階左側のループをつなぎます。
Install slope rails and connect the loop on the left side.

Step 4

残りの橋脚を置いていきます。
Place the remaining pier blocks.

Step 5

2階部分のレールをつないで完成です。
Connect the rails on the upper level.

Step 6

車両を並べます。
矢印の向きに車両を走らせると、すれ違いに迫力が出るのでおすすめです。
Place trains.
It’s recommended to face the trains as shown in the figure for more passing-each-others.

図の赤い矢印のところは、必ずこの向きにします。
これら1階の左側ループと坂のあるループには、高さギリギリでレールの下をくぐるところがあります。動力車の右側についているスイッチが引っかかって止まらないよう、ぶつかりやすいところが左側にくるようにするためです。
For red arrows in the figure, trains must be in these directions.
There are minimum height margin points in these two loops – left hand circle on the lower level and a loop with slopes.
As the switch lever of the powered car is on the right side, bring the critical height points to the left to prevent the switch lever from getting caught on the upper rail.

このレイアウトはありとあらゆるところがギリギリなので、ゆがんでいると事故が起こりやすくなります。
車両を走らせる前にレイアウトにゆがみがないかチェックしましょう。
Everywhere in this track layout is marginal in terms of the space and it’s sensitive to distortions.
Make sure there is no distortions before running the trains to prevent accidents.
