今回は、グレーの高架レールを使って、レイアウトをグレードアップするテクニックを紹介します。

やり方は簡単です。
There are easy 3 steps.
- ひとまずレイアウトをつくる。
Prepare for an original track. - いちばん外側をぐるっと囲むように、ブロック橋脚を置いていく。
Place pier blocks so that a new elevated track surrounds the original one. - いちばん上に高架レールで一周のレイアウトをつくる。
Build a loop track on the top using elevated rails.
使うレールはおもに高架直線レール (R-26) と高架曲線レール(R-27) ですが、新幹線のレールセットなどに入っているグレーのレールや、操車場 (J-06) に入っている少し濃いめのグレーのレールを使っても差し支えありません。
Use elevated straight rails (R-26) and elevated curve rails (R-27), as well as any gray rails such as ones in Shinkansen rail set and/or deeper gray ones in marshaling yard (J-06).
高架レールに入っている架線柱などで飾りつけるとより華やかになります。
The track would be even more brilliant if decorated by overhead wire poles, etc.
慣れてきたらいろいろアレンジしてみてください。
いちばん外側でなくてもいいですし、四角でなくてもかまいません。
As you get used to, make it your way.
It doesn’t have to be along with the outer edge of the track layout, nor rectangular.
